1. General Information

  • “We,” “our,” and “us” refer to Mallory Mae Photography.

  • “You” refers to website visitors, potential clients, or contracted clients.

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of this site means you accept those changes.

  • 2. Use of Website

    • Content on this site (text, images, graphics, and designs) is owned by Mallory Mae Photography and protected under copyright law.

    • You may not copy, distribute, or use content without prior written consent.

    • Unauthorized use of this site may give rise to a claim for damages.

    3. Booking & Payments

    • A signed contract and retainer are required to secure any photography session or event date.

    • All retainers are non-refundable. Remaining balances must be paid according to the timeline in your contract.

    • Pricing is subject to change without notice but will not affect bookings already secured with a contract.

    4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

    • In the event of a cancellation by the client, retainers are non-refundable.

    • Rescheduling is subject to photographer availability. Additional fees may apply.

    • If Mallory Mae Photography must cancel due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, all payments (including retainers) will be refunded, or rescheduling will be offered.

    5. Image Rights & Usage

    • Mallory Mae Photography retains the copyright to all images taken.

    • Clients receive personal usage rights to images delivered (for printing, sharing, and personal display).

    • Commercial use (advertising, marketing, resale, etc.) is not permitted without written permission.

    • We reserve the right to use images for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless otherwise stated in your signed contract.

    6. Liability

    • While every effort is made to ensure satisfaction, Mallory Mae Photography is not liable for unforeseen circumstances (weather, natural disasters, accidents, technical failures, or client lateness).

    • Liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for services.

    7. Turnaround & Delivery

    • Session galleries are delivered within 2-3 weeks unless otherwise specified in your contract.

    • Wedding and event galleries are delivered within 10-12 weeks unless otherwise specified in your contract.

    • Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.

    • Image quality, style, and editing are at the discretion of Mallory Mae Photography.

    8. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
